We are really pleased to be able to offer our annual meeting online for the first time ever. Tickets have been going fast but there are plenty of opportunites to access this exciting event which will be running until October 2. By signing up for this event you will be able to access a range of key note speakers such as Angela Douglas, Deputy CSO, NHS England, alongside scientific sessions covering all aspects of physics and engineering in medicine
Clinical Engineering talks will give you the opportunity to listen to Professor Dan Clark and Professor Paul White amongst others. There will be sessions on Artificial Intelligence and it’s future in Radiotherapy and Medical Physics, Magnetic Resonance in Radiotherapy which will include an update of the IPEM report of the same name and you can hear about the Boron Neutron Capture Therapy Facility in Birmingham, and the Proton Centre at University College London.
You will be able to find out what the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare is doing as well as find out about new regulations including the new Photon MV Code of Practice. Find out how life changed for departments when the COVID-19 pandemic hit as well as hear presentations from IPEM prize winners and senior members within the Institute. Finally the event will close with a talk from Dr Phil Hammond.
