Radiopharmacy LIMS to be rolled out to three more SPECT facilities

SPECTra, a modular radiopharmacy laboratory information management system (LIMS), has been chosen by four UK SPECT facilities. It has been designed to improve efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance at all stages of the SPECT radiopharmacy production workflow.

The Christie in Manchester was the first site in the UK to choose SPECTra as its LIMS software, with installation taking place in 2018. In 2020, installation and validation of SPECTra is due to take place at The Royal Marsden Hospital, City Hospital, Birmingham, and the new Molecular Imaging Research Centre at Castle Hill Hospital in partnership with the University of Hull.

Bartec Technologies, part of the LabLogic Group, is the UK representative for SPECTra.
