Tameside and Glossop completes lockdown installation

Since 2018, Fujifilm has installed four Visionary Suite room solutions and five mobile units at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. The installation of the fifth digital imaging room at the hospital this year was undertaken in the midst of lockdown.

Despite the challenges posed for both organisations, Fujifilm and Tameside General Hospital worked together to ensure the project was completed safely and efficiently. “Installation was super-efficient as Fujifilm utilised the difficult but quiet period during the pandemic to advantage,” said associate DM clinical support services/radiology manager Helen Johnson.
