Fast x-ray processing at Royal Oldham

Royal Oldham Hospital’s main x-ray department has replaced an older version of the Arcoma range with a fully digital and flexible DR solution from Wolverson X-ray, including three DR panels.  The tablet on the tube stand gives it full functionality without the user having to walk to the workstation and this has increased efficiency.

Clinical department manager Kaye Brown said: “The lightweight and manoeuvrable tube head combined with fast processing and high quality diagnostic images means we are able to image patients in a more timely manner.  The upgrading of our equipment has allowed for better patient throughput which makes a positive difference to our staff and patient experience.”
